Chapter Arts Centre was founded in 1971 and has grown into one of the major centres for contemporary arts in Europe. It comprises of a gallery, cinema, bar, café and over 60 performance spaces. The venue is famous for attracting bands and artists from all over the world and over 1,000 events a year take place on the premises, ranging from theatre and dance to art and animation.

The challenge

Chapter Arts Centre increased its customer numbers by almost 50% in three years which provoked a challenge to provide an excellent service level so their visitors had more reason to stay, and more reasons to return. The company’s 2Mb speed wasn’t enough to ensure their employees worked as productively as possible, nor gave them the necessary infrastructure to cope with increasing customers.

The solutions

Chapter Arts upgraded to superfast broadband and now get average speeds of 40mpbs download and 10mpbs upload. They can give a better service to their customers, for example they offer free unlimited Wi-Fi in their café, plus their employees can work more efficiently.
